... Well, Shadows have always been around! It doesn't mean they're malevolent--Shadows take all sorts of forms from the human psyche. As long as people deny themselves, there will always be Shadows. I'm different, though, because I'm still a 'person'. That's what Minato-kun gave me, after all.

To answer your question, in my world, there's a twenty-fifth hour in the day between 12:00 and 12:01am. The world stands still then, and time sort of... stops? They call it the Dark Hour. I couldn't imagine hurting anyone...
